Baby Zion has arrived. Alpha was incredibly brave as she endured almost 16 hours of labor. Her sacrifice was rewarded with the arrival of her beautiful gift from God - her healthy baby boy.
Mommy and baby are doing well. Alpha is recovering. I am still at awe at everything that happened and especially with my sister's courage. Emotions were high and the tears flowed, and most of all she overcame all our fears with courage that I could never possess.
It was on Friday, May 2 when I saw with my own eyes how a mother's love for her child is like none other. Welcome to the world Zion. We love you.
